What is Career Advising?
- Career advising can help you make satisfying decisions about your education and future career.
- The goal of career advising is to assist students in finding a good fit between who they are as people and their occupational pursuits.
- The focus is to assist students in identifying their personality traits, interests, strengths, values and skills as they relate to making decisions about academic majors and career paths.
- Career advising can help you get started with your career planning.
Whether you’re unsure about what you want to do for a living, don’t like your current classes, or maybe you like your major but you don’t know what you can do with it after graduation, meeting with a Career Advisor might be the answer for you. All services are available for currently enrolled NMSU students.
